Luar da Foia – Dining with a View Perched high on the hills, Luar da Foia offers fresh, seasonal dishes paired with breathtaking mountain panoramas. It’s a perfect spot for a family lunch after a morning of hiking, combining traditional Algarve flavours with a dining experience that feels both relaxed and memorable. 36 years ago, in the same place our restaurant is located, they opened a small wooden bar that little or nothing resembled the current space of Luar da Foia. Since then, the desire to innovate, preserving all the local traditions, and the desire to transform Monchique into a gastronomic destination of excellence have always been nourishment for our success. However, nothing would be possible without the tireless work of the team and the enormous pride and love they have for the village of Monchique.
