The magazine

The Algarve Family Guide is a free publication. Its articles, photography, design and directory are the property of the Algarve Family Guide or its partner businesses and may not be reproduced commercially without permission. You are always welcome to share links to our stories.

Editorial independence and recommendations

Our directory features businesses we have chosen to work with, and some articles are produced in partnership with the businesses they feature. We only work with businesses we are happy to put our name beside, and partner content is part of how the guide stays free. Recommendations are given in good faith; always verify details such as prices and opening hours directly with the business.

Advertising bookings

Bookings made through this site are requests, confirmed personally by our team before any charge or publication. Placements, start dates and pricing are agreed in the confirmation email. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their supplied content and for having the rights to any material they give us to publish.

Accuracy

We take care to keep information correct at the time of publication, including the useful numbers page, but details change and we cannot guarantee completeness. For emergencies always call 112.
