The V Clinic: A Science-Led Approach to Health
No two bodies are the same, so why should their wellness plans be?
DR V CLINIC A science-led approach to health, designed around your body — not a one-size-fits-all plan. In a world full of generic health advice, Dr. Boshra Varastegani is taking a very different approach. As the founder of The V Clinic in Vilamoura, her work is centred around one simple idea: no two bodies are the same — so why should their wellness plans be? With a background rooted in science, research, and personalised nutrition, Dr. Varastegani helps clients understand their health on a deeper level, using advanced DNA and biomarker analysis to guide truly individual wellbeing strategies. Tell us a little about your background… I hold a PhD in Nutrition Science and specialise in nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics — essentially, understanding how our genes interact with nutrients and influence our health. Over the years, my work has taken me through academia, research, and applied nutrition. I’ve contributed to European initiatives focused on food security and health, published scientific research, and worked closely with individuals looking for more precise, personalised guidance. But what has always mattered most to me is translating science into something meaningful — something that genuinely improves how people feel and function every day. What led you to create The V Clinic? For many years, I worked privately with clients, offering tailored wellness guidance. Over time, I saw a clear gap — so much of the advice people receive is still very general, yet our bodies are incredibly individual. The V Clinic was created to offer something more precise. It’s a space where science meets personalisation, and where each client’s plan is built around their own biology, not assumptions. At its core, Dr. Varastegani’s philosophy is simple: wellness should never be generic. By understanding what the body needs — both now and in the future — it becomes possible to move beyond short-term fixes and towards long-term, meaningful health. “For many clients, DNA testing becomes the turning point — the moment they stop guessing and start understanding their body properly.” PERSONAL WELLNESS BEGINS WITH YOU DR V CLINIC
DR V CLINIC Together, they create a powerful, complete picture — allowing wellness plans to be both preventative and responsive. Who is it for? The V Clinic works with a wide range of clients: • Those managing ongoing health concerns • Individuals looking to improve energy, weight, or lifestyle • Clients focused on prevention, longevity, and performance • Families wanting deeper insight into their health Whether you are solving a problem or simply optimising your wellbeing, this approach meets you where you are. For international clients The service is designed to be flexible and accessible. DNA testing can be done from home, with consultations carried out online, making it ideal for international clients. Why this is so compelling Because it answers a question many people quietly ask: “Why does my body respond differently?” By looking at your body through your own genetic and biological data, The V Clinic offers a clearer, more personal understanding — and a more effective path forward. The V Clinic Vilamoura, Algarve www.thevclinic.eu +351 933 460 017 drv@thevclinic.eu The V Clinic’s approach is rooted in one powerful concept: your health should be guided by your own data. By combining DNA testing with blood biomarker analysis, Dr. Varastegani creates a detailed picture of how each body functions — and what it truly needs. Why personalised wellness matters No two people respond the same way to food, supplements, exercise, or even medication. Genetics, hormones, metabolism, lifestyle, and environment all play a role. This is why a personalised approach can be transformative — it removes the guesswork and replaces it with clarity. The DNA advantage A simple, non-invasive saliva test provides insight into how your body is designed to function. This includes: • Nutrient absorption (such as vitamins and minerals) • Metabolism and fat processing • Hormonal balance and stress response • Sleep and recovery patterns • Skin health and ageing • Sensitivity to caffeine and certain medications Rather than reacting to problems, this allows for a more proactive and preventative approach to health. More than just testing While DNA reveals long-term predispositions, blood biomarkers show what is happening in the body right now. DR V CLINIC
